Prof. Dr. Per Lægreid
Per Lægreid has been professor for Administration and Organization Theory at the University of Bergen in Norway since 1992. He has taught, amongst others, at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, the Copenhagen Business School, and repeatedly went to Stanford University as a visiting Scholar. His main research interest lies in public personnel and pay policy, the central administration and administrative policy. Besides, Per Lægreid has given guest lectures all around the world and has been an active reviewer and member of editorial boards for numerous journals such as Scandinavian Political Studies, Public Administration and Public Management Review. In 2002, he also became research director at the Stein Rokkan Center for Social Research, Bergen.
