Prof. Dr. John Philipp Siegel
John Philipp Siegel is professor of economics and administrative sciences, particularly public management at the HAW Hamburg.
Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Public Services and Tourism at the University of St. Gallen, as a Visiting Researcher at the Georgetown Public Policy Institute at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and as a research assistant at the Chair for Public and Nonprofit Management at the University of Potsdam. Before the start of his professorship John Philipp Siegel was Project Manager of the program "LebensWerte Kommune" at the Bertelsmann Foundation.
His work and interest areas include administrative reforms, (New) public management, strategic management and performance management in the public sector.
