Prof. Dr. Geert Bouckaert
Geert Bouckaert is Professor (since 1996) at the KU Leuven Public Governance Institute at the university in Leuven, Belgium. He is past President of the European Group of Public Administration (EGPA) and is currently president of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS). Among his numerous books and articles is the influential "Public Management Reform. A Comparative Analysis" (Oxford University Press: 2011, third edition), with of Christopher Pollitt. Geert Bouckaert has been Visiting Professor to the PPM Program at the University of Potsdam since 2001. He was awarded the Anneliese Maier Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation which allows him, together with Professor Werner Jann (Potsdam University), to develop the Potsdam-Leuven-Project on the future of the field of Public Administration.
