Eric Kearney is Professor of Leadership, Organization and Human Resource Management at the University of Potsdam. Prior to coming to Potsdam, he was Professor of Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management at Leibniz Universität Hannover (2009-2014). Eric Kearney studied psychology at the Freie Universität Berlin and subsequently received his doctorate in management at the Technische Universität Berlin. In his research, he examines how leadership, team composition, and team processes affect team performance; how synergistic teamwork can be fostered in teams that are diverse with respect to demographics, functional and/or educational specialization background; how leadership can support organizational innovation; and how performance and satisfaction in organizations can be enhanced through a combination of monetary and non-monetary incentives and measures.
