Internationalization through E-Learning

International teaching and research collaborations become more and more significant in daily university routines. Digital media and E-Learning tools provide various possibilities to push forward internationalization at a resource efficient level. The initiative Online International Learning at University of Potsdam contributes to reaching the goals of the strategy for internationalization of teaching and learning at University of Potsdam.

OIL.UP supports the internationalization @home and supports further student and teacher mobility abroad. The potential of digital communication through E-Learning techniques is used to the fullest to achieve successful international collaborations.

The OIL project supports the development and implementation of various teaching scenarios, no matter if a short-time collaboration (e.g. guest lectures), a full term collaboration, student projects or the visualization of courses (e.g. in MOOCS) is planned. For teachers OIL.UP provides didactical help in form of best practice examples and special E-Tutors who support the design of international online courses.
