We will again conduct an international conference on natural hazards and risks in a changing world in October 2021. The conference will take place on 5 – 6 October 2021 at the University of Potsdam, Campus Griebnitzsee, Building 6. We are now in the early stages of conference organisation and will update you as soon as possible.
25 January 2021: talk by Dr. Annette Patton (University of Oregon, US) on " Integrating soil moisture, precipitation, and geomorphic assessment for a community-driven landslide warning system in Sitka, Alaska"
8 February 2021: talk by Dr. Manuela Brunner (National Center for Atmospheric Research, US) on " Spatial hydrologic extremes in the United States: from floods to droughts"
In February 2021: Dr. Hessel Winsemius (TU Delft, Netherlands) will present insights of his research.
