Leena Steinke studied economics at HU - Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. She graduated in 2010 with a diploma thesis under the supervision of Prof. A. Brandt on the topic of "Optimal Scheduling Rules for Parallel Servers with Random Service Times". Subsequently, she worked as a research assistant on the further development of the lecture series of the Dean's Office for Management Sciences and Technologies at the Hamburg University of Technology. In addition, she was active in the advanced seminar "Operations Research" and supervised theses at the Institute for Operations Research and Information Systems. She is doing her PhD with Prof. K. Fischer on "Optimizing Closed Loop Supply Chains under Limited Capacities". Since February 2020, she has been working as coordinator of the FoLD project at the Chair for Complex Multimedia Application Architectures at the University of Potsdam.
