In the context of the RTG's training programme, fellows have the option of pursuing an outreach project. These projects provide an opportunity to reformulate the ideas developed in academic research within a different context, for a different public, and in many cases through a different medium. They are an attempt to engage in conversations that go beyond the academic sphere, or to enable collaborative projects with colleagues in other academic contexts. Content and form of the projects are up to the fellows. In the first group, there were exhibitions and sound installations, the launch of a literary magazine, a website, public readings with authors and talks with activists, a book launch, and a feminist academic conference.
