Jan Paul Adam is a research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Public and Nonprofit Management. His focus of research is on the usage of performance data in smart cities.
He studied social sciences at the University of Cologne (B.Sc.) and Public Management and Administration at the University of Potsdam (M.A.). During his studies, he worked for various governmental und non-governmental organizations. After his graduation, he gained professional experience as mid-level manager in a political party and later as a Legislative Assistant for a member of the national parliament (Deutscher Bundestag).
Since spring semester 2018, he returned to the University of Potsdam as a PhD student.
