Arndt Krischok studied political science, business administration with the focus on public management and general and comparative literature sciences (Magister) at the University of Potsdam. He wrote his master's thesis on "The Role of Policy Networks in Public Private Partnerships".
He gained practical experience at the Public Governance Institute (KPMG). During and after his studies, Arndt Krischok was research assistant at the chair for Public and Nonprofit Management at the University of Potsdam until 2010. In 2010 he was Research Assistant at the Hertie School of Governance for Prof. Hammerschmid. From 2011-2012, he also worked as a freelance researcher at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Arndt Krischok was a member of the research team of the Republic of Austria of the COST-CRIPO activity "Comparative Public Organization Database for Research and Analysis-Network (COBRA)".
Since 2011, Arndt Krischok is consultant for Public Management at the Institute for Public Management of the IPO-IT GmbH (Berlin).
The topic of his Phd-thesis is "Management and autonomy of subordinate and outsourced administrative units on state level (MANAV)". The project is carried out within a research project of the University of Potsdam, which is supported by the Institute for Public Management of the IPO-IT GmbH. The project is embedded in COBRA research.
