„The organizers provided a lot of social activities, including a poster session, informal get-togethers, social dinner, and a walk tour to enjoy Potsdam in summer. All these made ISOLDE unique and unforgettable.“

I really enjoyed this time for many reasons.

First, ISOLDE had a very welcoming atmosphere that made studying comfortable and productive. The organizers helped the participants and the instructors to get to know each other in an informal way and to exchange ideas.

Second, the scientific program was very diverse. It included lectures, hands-on sessions and lab-tours. Lab tours helped to learn how real data are collected. They were a perfect illustration of the saying “A picture is worth a thousand words”.

ISOLDE helped me to establish collaborations with the best specialists in language development. I used the knowledge from ISOLDE to start developing the infant line of language research in Moscow. I really hope that my colleagues and I will have the opportunity to enjoy future ISOLDEs.
