Nina Reiners successfully applied for funding for the second phase of her research project on the United Nations human rights treaty bodies. The Fritz Thyssen Foundation will provide financial support for another year, starting October 2018.
Nina's postdoctoral project is based at the Chair of International Organizations and Public Policy since October 2017 and supervised by Prof. Dr. Andrea Liese. The second phase of the project includes a longer research stay in Geneva. Between October 2018 and April 2019, Nina will observe treaty body meetings, conduct interviews with stakeholders, and study in the UN archives. During this time, she will also be a Visiting Fellow at the Graduate Institute's Global Governance Centre (IHEID).
