Getting to know new cultures, brushing up your language skills, and becoming independent – you can experience all this when you study abroad. You will gain an insight into other educational systems, enhance your professional knowledge and acquire intercultural competences - skills highly sought after in our today’s working environment. It is not necessary to fear a “loss of time”. You can easily integrate a stay abroad into your studies by applying for a leave of absence and it is possible to transfer credits from a foreign academic institution. There are numerous possibilities for getting a grant that provides financial support for studies or an internship abroad.

Preliminary considerations

However, before going abroad, you should also learn about the cultural characteristics of your destination country, as well as other important preparations, financing options, etc.

When do you want to go abroad?

For how long do you want to go abroad?

Would you like to study in the local language or in English?

How would you like to finance your stay abroad?
