Emergency Fund Scholarships

a) Studienabschluss-Notfondsstipendium / Graduation-emergency fund scholarship (BA/MA/Promotion)

• Study/Doctorate at the University of Potsdam in advanced semester. Graduation should take place in the course of the next 12 months.
• Economic hardship must be proven (presentation of general living conditions, as an example: Proof of a lost job; proof of discontinued payments from the home country or lack of support due to flight situation).

b) Studienbegleitendes Notfondsstipendium / Study accompanying-emergency fund scholarship

• Enrollment at the University of Potsdam
• Economic hardship must be proven (presentation of general living conditions, as an example: Proof of a lost job; proof of discontinued payments from the home country or lack of support due to flight situation).

c) Helfer:innen-Notfondsstipendium / Helper-emergency fund scholarship

• Enrollment at the University of Potsdam
• The special economic situation must be demonstrated (e.g., by describing general living conditions, describing the time required to care for refugees, or proof of a job that has been terminated)

Students in particular life situations (e.g. with a child, with a chronic ailment etc.) are especially encouraged to apply.

Please attach the following Documents as pdf-files:

a) Studienabschluss-Notfondsstipendium / Graduation-emergency fund scholarship (BA/MA/Promotion):

• BA/MA-students: your PULS-Transcript of Records (PULS-Leistungsübersicht);
• Doctoral students: a confirmation from the supervisor of the expected Graduation;
• a brief outline of the planed course of study (it must be evident that degree can be completed in the course of the next 12 months);
• appropriate proof(s) of financial need, as exemplified in "Application Requirements";
• if relevant, a proof of particular personal cirumstances (chronic disease, birth-certificate of children);
• a short depiction of how the money will be used for (see "Funding");

b) Studienbegleitendes Notfondsstipendium / Study accompanying-emergency fund scholarship:

• a certificate of enrollment;
• a proof/proofs of the financial hardship as exemplified in "Application Requirements";
• if relevant, a proof of particular personal cirumstances (chronic disease, birth-certificate of children);
• a short depiction of how the money will be spent (see "Funding")

c) HelferInnen-Notfondsstipendium / Helper-emergency fund scholarship:

• a certificate of enrollment;
• a proof/proofs of the financial hardship as exemplified in "Application Requirements";
• a depiction of the time spent aiding refugees;
• if relevant, a proof of particular personal cirumstances (chronic disease, birth-certificate of children);
• a short depiction of how the money will be spent (see "Funding")
