Entrepreneurship at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing

Professor Katharina Hölzle is currently teaching the Entrepreneurship course at the International Summer School of our partner university UIBE. This week the focus was on "Entrepreneurs wanted."

In its current paper, the High-Tech Forum presents various measures aimed at stimulating investments in research and development and contributing to the achievement of Germany's 3.5 percent target.

Appointment of Professor Hölzle as Spokeswoman of PoGS

Professor Katharina Hölzle was appointed spokeswoman of the Potsdam Graduate School of the University of Potsdam. PoGS promotes, connects, and advises junior and advanced researchers.

Professor Hölzle appointed as Vice Chairwoman of EFI Commission

Professor Hölzle has assumed the position of Vice Chairwoman of the newly composed Federal Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation (EFI). See the BMBF press release for further information.

Presentation of the EFI Report 2019

The Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation (EFI) presented its Annual Report for 2019 to German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel. This year's main topics include the role of start-ups in the innovation system, innovations for energy transition, blockchain, and the digitalization of tertiary education institutions. Appointment of Professor Hölzle to the High-Tech Forum of the Federal Government

Professor Katharina Hölzle has been appointed by the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Ms. Anja Karliczek, to the newly constituted High-Tech Forum. The 20 experts of the High-Tech Forum advise the Federal Government of Germany regarding the implementation and further development of the High-Tech Strategy 2025 and are co-chaired by Christian Luft (State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and Professor Reimund Neugebauer (President of the Fraunhofer Society).
