Train-the-Trainer Concept on Research Data Management published in English

The Train-the-Trainer Concept on Research Data Management is part of the larger Train-the-Trainer Programme on Research Data Management, which was developed within the project FDMentor – a research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) from 2017 to 2019.

The Train-the-Trainer Programme was piloted in a series of workshops. The topics cover many aspects of research data management, such as data management plans and the publication of research data, as well as didactic units on learning concepts, workshop design, and a range of didactic methods.

Since the Train-the-Trainer Programme has gained a lot of interest both nationally and internationally, employees of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Freie Universität Berlin dedicated themselves to a translation of the concept and training materials after the completion of the project. The newly published English version of the Train-the-Trainer Concept contains the translated concept, materials and all methods of the Train-the-Trainer Programme. Furthermore, additional English references and materials complement this version.

The English version of the established Train-the-Trainer Concept on Research Data Management is available on Zenodo.

Ebenfalls auf Zenodo verfügbar ist die deutsche Version des Train-the-Trainer Konzept zum Thema Forschungsdatenmanagement.
