Sleep ― A Prerequisite for an Active Life
Sleep takes up a third of our lifetime. In this workshop, you will gain insights into what healthy sleep is and why it has such a noticeable effect on our health and well-being. You will learn why relaxation techniques have a prophylactic effect and thus reduce stress and sleep complaints. In addition, our speaker will familiarize you with the most important rules of contemporary sleep hygiene, the different chronotypes (lark, owl, dove) and the effects of their sleeping positions. This will give you a comprehensive understanding of how you can influence your sleep yourself or when it may be advisable to consult a sleep physician.
This workshop is available to all employees / students at the Potsdam Science Park in Golm. This offer is presented here in consultation with the Corporate Health Management of the University of Potsdam: https://www.uni-potsdam.de/de/gesundheitsmanagement/
