Anyone working in the field of Digital Humanities (DH) or planning and preparing a digital project in the humanities knows the problem of finding methodological or technical impulses, ideas or solutions to specific problems. The Network Digital Humanities is offering open co-working hours regularly from winter semester 2019/2020 onwards to meet the ever-growing demand for counselling, information and networking in the field of Digital Humanities and to create a straightforward network for colleagues, associates and students.
The idea of open "co-working hours" is simple: coming together, being productive and simultaneously exchanging ideas freely. Participation is non-committal and open. The first session will be on Thursday, 17th of October 2019 from 2-5pm in room 01.08.069. The next sessions will be every two weeks from then on. The room is a computer room, which will gradually be upgraded with current DH-software and tools. Additionally, we recommend to BYOE (bring your own equipment).
