My main interests are the study of the human mind and cross-cultural psychology. The aspect of embodied cognition intrigued me as I was already interested in materialistic philosophy, so you could say I am an advocate of radical embodiment, although I accept its limits.

Why am I a student rep?
I was already helping fellow students and just went the extra step in making it official. If I am able to help, I am glad to do so!

My expertise: topics like BAföG (although if it goes beyond general questions, I probably will direct you to professional counsel), working/doing your internship in the Potsdam Embodied Cognition Group and commuting from Berlin.

My main interests in Cognitive Science are neurolinguistics, computational modelling and geeking out about statistical methods.

Why am I a student rep?
I've completed my Bachelor's degree at the University of Potsdam and have experienced the whole bandwidth of organizational hickups that make studying more cumbersome than it needs to be. Now I want to help make a change for the better! I'm especially interested in helping international students navigate Potsdam university life.

My expertise: Study regulations, PULS troubles, project organization

My main interests are Neuropsychology and Biological Psychology. Generally interested in the biological factors behind cognitive processes.

Why am I a student rep?
I remember landing in Germany with absolutely no idea how to proceed. As much as it has been an eventful journey full of learning moments, I think a lot of the bumps in the road I faced as an International Student could have been avoided. So I joined the student representatives to create a space for other clueless "Auslanders" and to throw queries and concerns at.

My expertise: International Student concerns, life and residence in potsdam, general visa and stay related bureaucracy for Non-EU students. Of course i don't discriminate so feel free to contact for other concerns too!

My main interest: Brain fascinates me and I love to discover its countless mysteries. I am interested in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnology. If you want to have a chat about brain news, message me!

Why I am a student rep?
I wanted to have power over how our Master program looks like as well as give voice to other students.

My expertise: How to join working, studying and doing an internship. I am also here to help with any questions concerning a move to another country (as an EU citizen).

My main interests encompass interdisciplinary studies involving math and music and understanding how the mind works through neuroscience. My time outside of university is generally spent practicing my instrument or listening to science or news podcasts.

Why am I a student rep?
I genuinely love helping others and answering questions. I care about hearing the needs of the CoSEC students, especially through obtaining feedback about the program for the betterment of the course of studies as a whole and for future cohorts. Creating a positive and enriching environment for others also creates an encouraging learning environment for me.

My expertise: Stipend applications, surveys / polls, advocate for mental health and studies balance, Non-EU student international questions (including moving, bureaucracy appoint making, preparation of documents, etc.)
