The following psychological scales have been developed or translated by our working group:
Assessment of Core CBT Skills (ACCS):https://www.accs-scale.co.uk/
The ACCS is a rating scale for the assessment of CBT skills that can be applied in self-reflection or during supervision. This instrument was translated into German by us.
Cooper-Norcross Inventory of Preferences (C-NIP):https://www.c-nip.net/
With the help of the C-NIP, patients are able to express their therapy preferences. They are, for example, able to indicate whether they would prefer their therapist to work with them on what they think or on what they feel. The C-NIP was translated into German by us.
Counselor Activity Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES-R)
The CASES-R measures how counselors or therapists perceive their own ability to engage in specific counseling or therapy-related activities (i.e. helping clients to set realistic goals). The scale was translated into German by us and is available upon request per email.
Clinical communication skills scale (CCSS)
Using the CCSS, basic competencies in counseling techniques that are employed by counselors and therapists during professional conversations and therapy sessions can be assessed. This encompasses structuring elements (i.e. to summarize intermediate conclusions) as well as a variety of conversational techniques for counseling (i.e. to repeat what the patient said with one’s own words).
The CCSS is available in German and English. Furthermore, a 14-item short version is available, the CCSS-S:
Dimensional Obsessive-Compulsive Scale - English and German Short Forms (DOCS-SF)
The DOCS-SF is a brief questionnaire which assesses the presence of obsessive-compulsive symptoms on four dimensions (i.e. contamination), and measures their expression in the currently most burdensome area (i.e. expenditure of time, avoidance).
The DOCS-SF is available in German and English.
Skills Assessment of Patients with Health anxiety (SAPH)
The SAPH assesses the frequency of skills that patients with health anxiety demonstrate during a specific therapy session, separately for cognitive and exposure therapy.
The SAPH is available in German and English.
