Who can participate: All alumni of the University of Potsdam who are now doing scientific research outside of Germany (max. 20 people)

What to expect?

Building a strong network and becoming visible is essential for your career in or outside of academia. And it can be learned! In this practice-oriented workshop, you will reflect on your networking personality and career goals; learn tools to map, build and maintain networks, and develop strategies for visibility and self-representation. And there is time for exchange and questions.

Dr. Birte Seffert is heading the career advisory and coaching services at GSO, a Berlin-based Non-Profit empowering researchers to build careers in Germany in and outside of academia. For many years, she worked with international PhD students and Postdocs at universities in Aachen and Cottbus.
