A01: Integration sprachlicher Ressourcen in hochdiversen urbanen Kontexten, die die Grenzen der Variabilität ausloten.

Das Projekt untersucht den mehrsprachigen Kontext eines urbanen Straßenmarktes, auf dem SprecherInnen regelmäßig auf eine große Bandbreite sprachlicher Ressourcen zugreifen. Während bisherige Forschungen zu solchen Kontexten die charakteristische Diversität und Fluidität fokussierten, wird unsere Untersuchung auf Stabilität abheben und von der Hypothese geleitet werden, dass die beobachtbare und mitunter chaotisch anmutende Variabilität keine Beliebigkeit etabliert, sondern durch systematische Muster und Restriktionen beschränkt wird. Um diese Variabilität ebenso zu erfassen wie ihre Beschränkungen, kombinieren wir ethnographische und soziolinguistische Methoden mit grammatischer Analyse und theoretischer linguistischer Modellierung.
