Mentoring.International ist ein bis 2024 gefördertes Teilprojekt des DAAD im Rahmen des Programmes „Lehramt. International“ der Universität Potsdam.

Ziel der Maßnahme ist, eine digitale Qualifizierungsmöglichkeit zur Kompetenzentwicklung im Mentoring für Lehrkräfte deutscher Partnerschulen im Ausland anzubieten, welche Potsdamer Lehramtsstudierende in praxisbezogenen Ausbildungsanteilen betreuen. Die Maßnahme leistet einen Beitrag zur fachübergreifenden Qualitätssicherung des Praxissemesters (Master) im Ausland und erweitert bzw. vertieft die Kooperationen und den fachlichen Austausch mit deutschen Auslandschulen.

Mentoring.International entsteht in Kooperation mit der AG-Mentor*innenqualifizierung der UP[1] für Brandenburger Lehrkräfte und transferiert das Konzept auf die internationale Ebene. Verantwortlich für das Projekt ist der Fachbereich Musikpädagogik und -didaktik der Sekundarstufen.[2] Für die Summer-School 2021 an der UP ist ein Netzwerktreffen zur Diskussion der bis dahin erarbeiteten Ergebnisse geplant, in 2022 entsteht das Konzept mit möglicher Vorstellung bei der Summer-School 2022, im WiSe 2022/23 erfolgt die Pilotphase der digitalen Qualifizierung und im SoSe 2023 deren evaluierte Fortführung mit möglicher Einbindung in die Summer-School 2023. Ziel des Studienjahres 2023/24 ist das Implementieren des Mentoring.International in Form eines Webinars in die Struktur des ZeLB zur kontinuierlichen Qualifizierung von Lehrkräften an deutschen Schulen im Ausland wie das Publizieren der Ergebnisse aus der wissenschaftlichen Begleitung.

Mentoring.International is a DAAD sub-project funded until 2024 as part of the program “Lehramt.International” (Internationalization of teacher training) at the University of Potsdam.
 

The aim of the measure is to offer digital qualification opportunities for competence development in mentoring for teachers at German partner schools abroad who supervise Potsdam teaching degree students in practice-related training components. The measure contributes to the interdisciplinary quality assurance for the practical semester (Master) abroad and expands or intensifies the cooperation and subject-related exchange with German schools abroad.

Mentoring.International is being developed in cooperation with the “AG Mentor*innenqualifizierung” working group at the UP[1] for teachers in Brandenburg and transfers this concept to the international sphere. The academic department for music education and didactics for secondary schools is in charge of the project.[2] A network meeting is planned for the 2021 Summer School at the UP to discuss the results developed up to that point; in 2022, the concept will be drawn up with a possible presentation at the 2022 Summer School; in the 2022/23 winter semester, the pilot phase of the digital qualification will take place; and in the 2023 summer semester, there will be an evaluated continuation of the project, which will possibly be integrated into the 2023 Summer School. The goal for the 2023/24 academic year is to implement Mentoring.International into the ZeLB (Center for Teacher Training and Education Research) structure in the form of a webinar for the continuous qualification of teachers at German schools abroad as well as the publication of the results of the scientific monitoring.
