Dr. Martin Kamprath

Martin Kamprath is associate Post-Doc at the Chair for Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Potsdam. He is also advisory expert of technology transfer at the Helmholtz Association, the largest research organization in Germany. He governs the corporate venture program "Helmholtz Enterprise" and the Open Innovation program "Helmholtz Innovation Labs". 

He received his PhD from the University of Potsdam with honors ("summa cum laude"). 

Before, he was full-time researcher and PhD student at the University of Potsdam and worked in research and policy counselling projects in the Creative and Media Industries and in the Life-Science Sector.

With a DAAD full scholarship in 2012 he spent a research stay at Ryerson University, Toronto. During his first years as doctoral student, he worked in parallel as a business development manager in a joint spin-off of Film University Potsdam-Babelsberg and Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.

Martin has studied Business at the universities Potsdam, Freie Universität Berlin and Corvinus University, Budapest. During his studies he was accepted into the internship program Join Media and worked in the marketing and strategy department of Universal Music and UFA Film & TV.

Martin is reviewer for Journal of Business Models, Creativity and Innovation Management and Long Range Planning. In his personal blog he sheds light on unconventional perspectives within innovation management and relevant Call for Papers.
