I am actually working in the field of applied geomorphology and my main research interests focus on landscape evolution of mountain environments. In particular, I am interested in the interaction between tectonic, geomorphology, climate and surface processes at different temporal and spatial scales. My research includes morpho-tectonic evolution of mountains and volcanoes, and processes such as landslides and debris-flows. I have experience with field work and data collection, GIS, cosmogenic nuclides, dendrochronology, photogrammetric and remote sensing techniques. I also have experience with physical modeling and the analysis of environmental data.
Here at the University of Potsdam, I am part of the teaching group for the course "Geowissenschaft I and II" (Geology I and II) for Bachelor Student, and I am assistant in the Excursion in Southern France on "Deformation of sedimentary rocks, mapping and profiling".
In November 2016, I got the certificate "International Teaching Professionals", for teaching in English at high educational level.
