GK Best Paper Award

The GK offers a Best Paper Award for the best publication whose first author is a junior scientist (up to post-doc for less than three years). Submitted papers should be peer-reviewed and published or accepted (date of publication after 6/2008) and relevant for Cognitive Sciences.

Papers should be submitted as PDF until April 1, 2010 to vs1[at]

Congratulations to the two winners of the GK Best Paper Award 2010:

  • Milena Rabovsky: "Is lexical access autonomous? Evidence from combining overlapping tasks with recording event-related brain potentials"
  • Leonhard Schilbach: "Minds made for sharing. Initiating joint attention recruits reward-related neurocircuitry."

Both 2010 winners and the 2008 winner Tobias Schlicht will present their papers on Wednesday, Oct. 6th at 2.30 pm.

Brain Products Best Poster Award

Every accepted poster will automatically take part in a competition for the Brain Products Best Poster Award. The winner will receive a price of 500 EUR.

GK Travel Grants
