Das Kolleg Sichtbarkeit und Sichtbarmachung – Hybride Formen des Bildwissens an der Universität Potsdam beschäftigt sich mit Visualisierungsformen in Wissenschaft und Kunst. Es ist interdisziplinär angelegt und vereinigt auf einmalige Weise kognitions- und naturwissenschaftliche Disziplinen mit Kompetenzen aus der Geisteswissenschaft und der künstlerisch-gestalterischen Praxis.
Welcome to the website of the DFG research training group Visibility and Visualisation – Hybrid Forms of Pictorial Knowledge at Potsdam University. This multi-university group brings together scholars from different academic fields to explore the varied types of visualisation in the sciences and the arts. The interdisciplinary setting combines a wide-ranged expertise from cognitive and natural sciences with humanist research and artistic practice.
