John Archibald, Ph.D. (University of Toronto,
Canada)
is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics at
the University of Calgary and a member of
the psycholinguistics laboratory at the Language
Research Centre (LRC). He is President of the
Canadian Linguistic Association (CLA).
John Archibald has published extensively on the
acquisition of stress in an L2 (perception and
production), and various other aspects of L2
phonologies.

Susanne E. Carroll, Ph.D. (Université de

Canada Research Chair in Second Language Studies
Susanne Carroll has been a Professor in the Department
of English Studies - Applied Linguistics - at the University of
Potsdam. She was one of the principals in the C4
project of the Collaborative Research Centre
632 (SFB 632) on information structure.
She is now a Professor in the Department of Linguistics
at the University of Calgary.
Susanne Carroll has published extensively on the role of
feedback and correction in L2 acquisition, as well as
on the status and nature of input in acquisition theory.

Douglas Saddy,
Ph.D. (Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, USA)
is a Professor in the
Department of Linguistics
- Language Processing - at the University of Potsdam.
He is Director of the Neuro-Cognition laboratory.
In addition, he is co-directing the Center for Complex
Systems Dynamics and holds a membership in the
Interdisciplinary
Center for Cognitive Studies.
