Although the English Drama Group officially belongs to the Institute for English and American Studies of the University of Potsdam, it gets little financial support from the university itself. We are merely provided with a stage and very little equipment, which is over 60 years old. We are able to build or arrange for many things ourselves, but not nearly everything we need. Therefore we would welcome any donations, financial or otherwise. Especially in the area of equipment (light, sound, props, scenery and costumes) many things simply are beyond our abilities.

The English Drama Group indeed still sees itself as an amateur drama group composed of students; nevertheless we still would like to reach a certain degree of professionalism. For this however there are some technical requirements. Therefore we are very thankful for any support. Even a donation that might seem small to you would be very helpful to us.

You can find a detailed list of our needs by contacting us. In return, we would be glad to feature your name on our program, on the posters, the flyers and on the tickets. Furthermore we will link to you on our website and provide you with reduced or free tickets.
