The English Drama Group of the University Potsdam

The English Drama Group has been part of the campus life at the University of Potsdam for more than 25 years now. Over time it evolved from a curriculum course to a versatile company managed by students. Since 2002, acting, directing, constumes, scenery and much more are in the hands of dedicated students.

During the last years, we attempted a variety of genres, such as horror, fantasy, restauration comedy and fairy tale. This year we are putting on the crime comedy "The Real Inspector Hound" by Tom Stoppard. The play is both a persiflage and a hommage to the conventions of classical dectective stories, provided with a pinch of subtle humour. The English Drama Group of the University Potsdam is proud to present this play.
