DSH - Language Competence Test for University Admission (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang – DSH)
With successful completion of the DSH, applicants for studies are able to prove that they possess the necessary German language skills for studies in a German-language programme of study at an institute of higher learning.
If you would like to enrol in an English-language programme of study, you most likely do not need to take the DSH. Please contact the International Relations Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt) at the University of Potsdam for specific information.
The language level of the test corresponds approximately to the level C1. You thus need advanced German language skills in order to successfully complete the DSH. Please refer to the German-language web pages for more information regarding the DSH test or check the faq.
