Dear participants of the 11th International Conference on the History of the Language Sciences,
Now that the conference is over, I would like to thank all of you very much for your contributions and your participation. I hope that you will keep the conference in good memories, just as we will in Potsdam.
Although for many of you the new semester has already begun, allow me to draw your attention to two points:

1. The website of the conference, which we will continue to maintain with updated information on the history of the language sciences, will move after the conference and can be accessed at the following address: http://www.uni-potsdam.de/ichols_xi/
2. Please submit your paper by 15 November 2008..
   Please follow the submission guidelines .

At the Business Meeting, the responsibility for the preparation of ICHoLS XII was transferred to the Institute for Linguistic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, in cooperation with the University of St. Petersburg. I am looking forward to seeing many of you there again in 2011.
