International students whose major is English and/or American Studies can register for a section of the course(s) that fits their schedule. If there are enough spots in the course, they will be admitted to the course.

The English / Philology Department at Zessko is responsible for:

• Conducting the Entrance Test (E-EP) at the Department of English and American Studies
• The development and provisioning of practical language courses in the basic and advanced modules in the bachelor’s program (English Studies / American Studies / English)
• Preparing language certificates for students of English and American Studies, as well as the English Teacher Certificationprogram

The Department of English and American Studies is responsible for:

• Questions regarding applying for studies: Please direct your questions to the Office of Student Affairs or to the Department of English and American Studies.
• Recognition of equivalent test results for the Entrance Test (E-EP) at the Department of English and American Studies: Please direct your questions to the Examining Board of the Department of English and American Studies.
