The University’s internationalization strategy seeks to encourage teacher mobility in the coming years.
The Erasmus+ program funds teaching assignments at European partner institutions that have an inter-institutional agreement with the University of Potsdam. Guest lecturers are meant to strengthen the European dimension of the host institution, enhance the partner institution’s course offerings, and convey specialized knowledge to students who cannot or do not want to study abroad. Students in Potsdam also benefit of course from your international experience. Lecturer mobility should result in the development of joint programs of study at both partner institutions, as well as the exchange of teaching content and methodology. Your teaching stay must include at least eight hours of instruction per week. You can apply for a teaching stay if you have an employment contract with the University of Potsdam. Lecturers without funding, visiting lecturers with work contracts, professors emeritus, and retired teachers can apply. The EU Commission has set the minimal period for a teaching stay at two working days; the maximum funding period is two months (not including travel days).
To apply for a teaching stay, please fill out our Online-Form and take notice of the instructions for the application process.
Still, applicants can be considered depending upon the availability of funds after ending of the deadline.
