Advising and Services of the International Office

  • Application & Enrollment
    All information regarding application and enrollment for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program can be found on the pages "Study".
  • Tutors for international students
    Tutors will support you in your academic planning, give you information on the course and the structure of your studies as well as offer help with any study-related difficulties you might encounter.
  • Buddy Program
    The Buddy Program offers a support network in which University of Potsdam students assist newly-arrived international students.
  • Study Prognosis
    For extention of your Residence Permit the Foreigners’ Registration Office may ask you to provide a so-called study prognosis (Studienprognose). More information can be found here.

The International Office offers advising services for international students at the University of Potsdam. You can come to us with any question related to your studies or your legal status as an international student as well as with financial or personal concerns.

Right from the start we will be by your side. We are there for you during your studies until you complete your degree. The following consultation services are available to all international students, and we encourage you to make active use of them and to approach us with your individual needs:
