Potsdam Spring Program
This program, especially designed for students of the University of California (UC) and organised under the auspices of UC’s Education Abroad Program, started in April 2005. You get the chance to spend one semester at the University of Potsdam studying German language and culture.
It offers a rich variety of courses including language classes, linguistics, literature, politics and cultural studies. Thus, the program is designed for both, students pursuing graduate studies in literature, and students interested in careers perspectives such as business, government, law, medicine, media, and translation.
As a special integral part of the study plan you have the opportunity to take part in Project Work. You can choose from four different topics from the different fields of study. Here you are together in smaller groups plus a student tutor to work on a particular area in depth.
The program offers you an exciting range of opportunities to familiarize yourselves with German language and culture, beginning from language classes to in-depth study of complex literary, political and cultural topics.
This website is meant to give you an introduction to the upcoming program starting 1 April 2012 and ending 14 July 2012.
